[EXPERIENCES] Little Bird

I would like to introduce you a song, a very simple nasheed song for children, that always be one of my playlist tracks nowadays. The lyric is written by Dawud Wharnsby and sung by a cute little girl, named Zainab.

It reminds me a lot of the days I spent with PAA SALAM UI several years ago. How I miss these kids so much.

From an interview, Dawud Wharnsby has explained about how He made the lyric. Here is the link if you want to read the whole interview. And here's the link of youtube video made by fans.

Little bird, where has your mother gone?
Why are you here all alone?
Litter bird, where is your nest?
Why are you so far from all the rest?
Allah knows the language you speak and Allah can lift you high.
Allah can bring you home again.
For Allah is stronger than I, Allah is stronger than I.

Little bird, I wish I could understand the words you speak.
I wish that you could spend the day with me.
We could sit and chat as you perch upon my knee.
Allah knows the language you speak and Allah can lift you high.
Allah can bring you home again.
For Allah is stronger than I, Allah is stronger than I.

Little bird, I'd love to take you home.
Little bird, your eyes enchant me so.
Smiling moons in the dark night sky.
I wish that I could lift you up to fly.
Allah knows the language you speak and Allah can lift you high.
Allah can bring you home again.
For Allah is stronger than I, Allah is stronger than I.

I'll tell you a secret my little bird.
Sometimes I feel alone just like you.
But We should always know, Allah is nearby to hear each word We pray and kiss each tear We cry.
Allah knows the language you speak and Allah will lift us high.
Allah can bring us home again.
For Allah is stronger than I, Allah is stronger than I.

Cupsmuach! *ketjup semua adik asuh*
Have a blessed day!
